My icon is from Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan. Spider Jerusalem, top reporter and collumist, just asked the woman on a date. ("gay and pregnant with lizards" is an in-joke to another Warren Ellis comic, which, indeed, featured a gay gay fatally pregnant with Lizards) Spider always seems to get turned down, a lot. *pulls up Spider icon* Would you turn him down?

I remember little of it myself, but it was about Angel and Spike, and they spoke German in Rome. And were possibly foamy, or did that come later?

We may have been drunk... or no, it was in the Black Hole of Lambeth, home of over-friendly Bulgarians and whenst was lost my alarm clock and Mish's mum's A-Z. So we were probably high off pot fumes.

German in *ancient* Rome, nonetheless. I think it all came about because at the end of AtS, David Fury (or one of the other writers, maybe Tim Minear?) said something about how Spangel was the OTP of the series. The lobsters thing, as Claire is well aware, is a Friends reference, and no, I don't remember why we connected the two.

But, yeah, it was the very first night there, so possibly jet lag was also a factor, along with the pot fumes?

I remembered the lobsters bit, indeed. But yeah, I couldn't remember how the connection was formed, aside from jet lag, pot fumes, hysteria etc. :D

I think it's cos you and I were in the weird room by ourselves and the rest of them were in the other putting the final touches on the concept? Or something? The foamy came a bit later, I think. I'm pretty sure that was near the end of London...
