The viewpoint, definitely - I mean, most of what we get in the first book is What He Did To Bran, and all. And, yes, Tyrion's point of view and feelings definitely factor in, I couldn't agree more. ...oh dear, I just realised I only have one and a half books before I get to join everyone else in the gnashing teeth of "when is it ouuuuuuuuuut?" waiting. Drat. :D
I've realised what my problem is. Every time I put my foot down and say "no more! no more unfinished series/new tv fandoms/whatever", that is usually the five day warning before something shiny and awesome drops on my head and addicts me. goramit. *grin*
And, yay for Brienne, yeah. I really like her so far, so I'm definitely glad to hear there's more, and all.
indeed! i was SO HAPPY when he went back for Brienne, i totally chair danced this morning at that point. :D and yes, i suspect you do. book four is, strictly speaking, the one in two parts, isn't it? *g*

I am ever more convinced by each succeeding Dany chapter that Whitebeard is totally Barristan Selmy. I forget if I've mentioned that before...
Also am halfway to convincing myself it was/is Benjen Stark who just saved Sam and Craster's daughter (whose name keeps escaping me, not sure why), but that was the last point I read. I keep blowing off the internet as well as things like 'tidying my room' to read. :D
