Just don't fall over and die due to a caffiene overdose, hmm?

And I'm glad to see that at least some of the jokes weren't just temporary fannish induced craziness. It was, you know, the permanent kind.

I will do my best not to! ...the good thing is, my system is sort of on the asymptotal approach to caffiene. or, well, it's more like i need x amount of caffiene just to have the level normal people have (like Vimes and booze! ...if you read Discworld. if not, er, that made sense i SWEAR) and yes. but concern appreciated. *nod* *grin*

and, yes, me too. considering at one point i realised i was just sitting there giggling for no actual reason i was a bit "...is this going to make sense/be amusing tomorrow still?" but some of it certainly is. i'm really looking forward to stealing the time to make a Chat of Doom: the Collected Highlights (Or: Why You Thought We Were Unhinged and How We Prove It Without a Doubt) post.

...i just laughed SO hard at your last comment there. oh man. yes. indeed. it's funny because it's TRUE.

and how much do i adore you for exiting the chat with paul gross arms? there is not enough adoration on LJ for that. *squishes with delight*

...did I? *has no recollection at this point*

Have not read discworld, need to finish Good Omens (silly libraries wanting their books back) but I think I kind of get it?

I'm ded from your icon, myself.

you totally did. i choked with delight at the time and promptly saved and exited myself. *g*

And, ah, gotcha (hey, vague memory surfacing - we talked about THAT at some point in the chat, didn't we? Hee) but yes, it's sort of a universal thing, I think.

*sheepish grin* So, a while ago, if you ever saw that meme going round (that brooklinegirl started, actually) where you post as someone else? So Kat and I did it. And she used that line in her post as 'me' and all and sundry were rather... struck... by the apt. Because it is woefully, wonderfully so TRUE. I live for crack!crossovers. So, of course, YOUR icon just made me splutter with glee. OH PAUL. The sheer thought of the crazy that he and Joss could come up with if they had to work together is... eye-opening, I think.

*loves on you right the heck back*

We absolutely, totally one hundred percent have to. Yes. *repeats mantra* If we ds_noticeboard it, they will COME. /Waynes World.

And, oh, seriously, I do empathise. It's very exciting for me, normally I have to save up and haul ass to the northern hemisphere to meet other slashers (or, well, pimp the hell out of things at the_antichris who is wonderfully receptive and conveniently in the same city at least), but normally it's just me and Chris being not interchangeable like snowmobile parts so... exciting! but i do hope you manage to turn up someone awesome, fannish and slashy near you soon because it is the best.

Or, you know, we all start planning insanely far in advance and save up for an enormous slash invasion of somewhere with a good climate. Mmm. Slash island. *anticipates*

*pulls up a good cushion and settles in to chant the mantra some more*

Oh, dear. How impolite (and silly!) of them. Sigh. Rats.

! Yes! Exactly! *grin* Our polar bears exist only to be scenic and UNTHREATENING to Ray and Fraser. Indeed.

Yay happy!!

I just dug up the file with the WHOLE ENTIRE chatlog in it and omg 28 HOURS!!!

Do you still want to sift through it for extracts to post? If so, that's fabulous -- but if not, that's um, really really entirely understandable (and *cough*sane*cough*). Let me know? I'd love it if someone did pull the best stuff out to share with the fandom at large, but you've done SO much with this that I don't want you to feel obligated, and I KNOW we can find someone to volunteer.

*hugs*

So, so happy yes indeed! *g*

Oh, WOW. That is awesome. We win the internets for that, I think. It was so fun.

I do, yes - I am unhinged and actually really enjoy doing that sort of thing, so, hee, yeah. Seriously. I WANNA. I am... almostnearly on top of things (you know, in that way where I'm not, but if I put off reading+feedbacking til the weekend then I am) and am hoping to tackle it tomorrow night. Seriously, not at all an obligation, totally a "I would do this anyway because FUN" and also, I'm a compulsive recorder, so. *grin* And like I said to someone else (poss Sabine? have no memory left!) - all I did was Not Sleep which, really? not all that challenging. you guys put all the hard yard in.

*hugs bunches as that seems much saner than rambling more at such length*

Yay! I'm going to email it. It's just a .txt file, so it's relatively small.

I remember that you got logged off several times, and I poofed at the beginning when I had to restart Trillian, but I think this has everything except for my restart gap. I hope. Unfortunately all the emoticons are reduced to text, which makes the weirder ones unintelligible, but it should be okay. :D

I don't remember whether you saw, but mention was made of doing this again for Canada Day (July 1st), but that's also the beginning of 4th of July weekend here, so I'm going to put a poll up soon asking if people can make it, or if we should wait another couple of weeks first.

Also, I totally hear you on putting off comments & replies. I'm usually right on top of answering comments and feedbacking ficathon entries, but right now I'm just exhausted. I forget how tiring it can be to run extended weekend events like this. :P

*goes off to email*

Oh, superb - thank you! I do have it saved as, er, eight separate text files on two different computers (hee) but being saved the work of mashing them all together properly would be marvellous, thank you kindly. sounds good to me, anyway! YAY!

I do have the hazy-memory of that, yeah, so I think a poll's a good idea, see how many can make it, or even if we should split a couple more modest chats (well, planned ones - obviously I think we proved that the chats can self-sustain quite nicely when they get going. *g*) at another point.

Ohhyeah, exactly. And you rest up a lot yourself - you've more than earned it.

Muhh. Your ICON. ...sudden memory of almost everyone in the chat capslocking HANDS and HIP at that point. *giggles anew*
