Poo. But at least now it is fucking bucketing down with rain. It's fantastically ( Read more... )

I finally figured this out, did I tell you? It's a trumpet concerto in B or something; it was on a classical compliation my mum had me copy when then lurked in my iTunes until the end of time. I shall give it to you when you get home, if you like!

I love thunderstorms. They're my favourite type of weather! Unfortunately we rarely get them where I live in Leeds because the Penninies steal all of our good clouds. One year though I actually saw lightening strike the house opposite me - it was so damn cool! I shouted excitedly and ran to wake up my girlfriend and tell her. Somehow she wasn't quite as impressed.

Damn you, Pennines! And, ohh, man. AWESOME. I would've felt that was worth being woken up for, frankly.

It thundered here on Saturday. Mother nature's April Fools? It was seriously weird. I mean, it's April. April in Alberta means we still have two feet of snow being held in reserve for us. Rain was really creepy.
Plus I was driving on the highway at the time and heavy rain = not able to see.
