THUNDERSTORM!! YES! Oh, please come back over here, it's been fucking MONTHS since I've had a decent storm. *wriggles excitedly* ...crap, I think it's heading away, though - I've only seen one flash of lightning and the thunder was way quiet and also a long way off. Poo. But at least now it is fucking bucketing down with rain. It's fantastically loud on the roof, too. (This is only cool up to the point where I have to leave the house, but hopefully it will have stopped by 7am? If not, distinctly UNCOOL.)
Dinner was fun. It was very pie-y. We had mince pie for dinner, and I have an unholy love of pastry, I really do. And then mum just came in and handed me apple pie for dessert. SCORE. While I am pretty much the unhealthiest pig of an eater in the history of the world, I actually don't have dessert all that often, so that was a nice treat. Also, dinner was highly entertaining because - and sadly, I forget how - we got onto the topic of Crazy Shit People Have Done In Front of Us and Mark and Flash started in on talking about people snorting wasabi (*hides under bed at the thought*) and then we got onto "people gunstapling their privates to their legs" and me and Flash and Mark are sitting there snickering while my parents are turning green. Excellent. Sometimes it's good to be the 'kids', even if all three of you are over 20. :D
I want fic. I was hoping to write today but U2 ate my brain, so not so much. Again, I am torn between trying to find extra stuff to -- SHIT SHIT SHIT. Did not ring airline. Must do TOMORROW. Fuck. *writes huge post-it and sticks it on the fucking computer screen* Gah. That just put my heart in my throat. But it's okay, the date line is working for me FOR ONCE and I can ring tomorrow at the latest. Not today. PHEW.
But first, there should be more pie. PIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
I apologise to all the people I have spammed this afternoon and indeed, this year, who may not have entirely appreciated it. I do not vow to change my ways, however, as apparently the majority of you are charming and odd and like to be spammed. But I felt it should be said.
Memo to self: put registration IN car. Instead of in bag/room. This form of legality will probably be of benefit. Dumbass. Also, rewrite userinfo soon as it's three months out of date.
