I actually found out earlier today, as my twitter list was kinda crazy with so many people freaking out about it.

To be quite honest, I at first thought it was just some random rumor, and shrugged it off. Looked more closely and I ended up looking like this for most of the day :[

Exactly, I think that's the worst part, the fact the kept lying about it. If you wanted out, say it, don't lie about it!

I don't think I'll have the heart to finish any of my Pi centered WIP's. *stares at folder*

I hope they get to do a ton, although I think they're limited till the end of the year because of the TM concerts.

NEWS is not my favourite JE unit, but I do like them a lot (there are just too many units in JE for them to be in my top3 XD). Yamapi always telling that he would stick to the group no matter what and then leaving like this… sounds so not fair for the fans D:
Btw I agree with you. I mean, Ryo, it was kind of expected uh? We knew if he had to choose between the two, he'd go for Kanjani XD; and if Yamapi decided to leave, it was the right moment make this decision. Again, maybe not fair to NEWS, but…
Yamapi though… wtf?! XD It's not like his solo activities are so intense and tiring and imho he could continue doing solo works while also being in NEWS. Jin wanted to leave for America and doing a complete different kind of music and activities, I don't think Yamapi has such clear plans for his activities… but I might be wrong.

Yes, that's why I was really annoyed, it's one thing to do something, and it's a totally different thing to lie about it the way he did.

lol if anyone were to leave, I'd always pegged Ryo to be it, it's always been alot for him, it's just kinda sad that he's doing it now.

I kinda suspect Pi wants to branch out to the rest of Asia and possibly in Europe, but his brand of music could have easily been done with NEWS too. I mean they're always changing their sound as it is, they've even done some techno on their last album, so he really doesn't have the same excuse as Jin.

I agree with everything you wrote. Basically we all have the same opinion about this matter. We knew Ryo would leave eventually, but Pi...
So, the group lost the "leaders", I just hope NewS won't fade into obscurity. NewS!4nin need to prove them that they can make it big, with or without them.

I swear that's my biggest fear, for the four to just fade away because they don't have the two popular members.

if they don't get to play any of the domes anymore I'll be forever sad, they worked so hard to get there and now it's like they're getting demoted ;___;

I feel the same as you. I didn't think this would happen EVER. Totally shocked that it actually happened.

you could tell that Jin did NOT want to be in KAT-TUN at all but Pi got along with everyone and while they weren't BFFS 4 LYFE they still had a good relationship. so it's totally different.

I can't supposrt Yamapi right now....but I know I will eventually.

Seriously, for some reason I deluded myself into thinking they could be like V6, still going strong at 15 years!

Jin always made it clear that he didn't want to be there, and like you said Pi never gave any inclination of leaving, he was always talking about how they'd kinda grown closer. that yeah he might not have liked them all to begin with, but that he'd loved them together. I mean do you remember that jacket he wore on hiatus? with all their initials? How does it go from there to 'I want to go solo and be challenged'
I just can't do anything with Pi atm, although I know at some point he'll do something silly/funny and I'll forgive him.
