She stared for a fraction of a second, disbelief and the hazy image of what looked like a computer-riddled underground broadcasting station confusing her enough to keep outrage at bay. And then the gun came up, the frost came out.

"Drop the illusion and the gun before I shoot."

Jack was too tired to be dealing with this at the moment, because really. He put the gun back in his holster, looking rather annoyed as Misaki kept hers trained on him. "What are you doing in my Hub? I happen to like my Hub; it's big, quiet, and nobody's supposed to be able to get in here without at least triggering the alarms. Now I can't even get into my office and you're about to shoot me" All he wanted was his bed; was that too much to ask for?

The sound of voices (and much as he hated to admit it, the fact it wasn't just Jack's concerned him slightly) confirmed that the Hub must have had an intruder. An intruder that had come up from the basement, no less. Security clearly wasn't as tight as they liked to think.

Ianto reluctantly stood, glancing over at the office door before instead bringing up CCTV of the Hub on Jack's computer screen. He switched the camera; confusion only growing as he recognised the other person.

"...Misaki?"

She tensed. It certainly sounded like Jack. And if it was an illusion, it was a pretty imperfect one; the constant haze between old subway station and well-equipped hideout made her dizzy.

"I said, drop the illusion and disarm yourself."

The smart thing to do would've been to drop the gun and try to reassure Misaki he was himself, not an illusion. Jack wasn't in a very smart mood, apparently; Instead he plopped right back down on the sofa, legs spread and arms on either side of the backrest as he leaned his head back and closed his eyes.

"You know what? Fine, do what you want. Run amok in a secret underground base, see if I care; just do me a favor and don't shoot the pterodactyl, those things are hard to come by"
