Hm? Oh... I got this Metal Coat off the Magnemite I caught on Route 39. It's an item that boosts the effectiveness of Steel-type moves when a Pokémon holds it, but it has another feature.

If I give it to Justice and trade him to another trainer, he'll evolve into a Scizor.

Only Scyther and Onix can evolve that way -- I don't know why. But unlike most evolutions, evolving from a Scyther into a Scizor has both advantages and drawbacks.

The last time I spoke to him, he was on his way to Cherrygrove City. That was a couple of days ago, so I imagine he's there by now.

Oh, of course, Athrun. ...If you want, I can wait for him to catch up. It really does help having other human friends to travel with, as well as pokemon.

Oh, I couldn't ask you to do that. He'll only have just arrived in Cherrygrove City, so you'd be waiting weeks before he'd be ready to even challenge Falkner.

It's all right, he's highly capable and is a quicker learner than anyone I know. Just giving him someone to talk to, someone who's been around longer, will be the help he needs.

What is he like?

If he's not the kindest person I've ever met, he's most certainly in the top two. He's far more compassionate than I could ever hope to be. He's always happy to make new friends, and is steadfastly loyal to the friends he has.
