Well, I'm glad to see the rain has stopped, though I wish the clouds would move out. Was anybody hurt during all of this? It wasn't nearly as bad as what happened shortly after I arrived, but still...

I just wanted to let you know...a very close friend of mine recently arrived here. His name is Kira Yamato. He has brown hair and violet eyes, and got a Pidgey as his starter.
I'd appreciate it if you could find the chance to talk to him. He's a very kindhearted person, so I think you'll all get along with him. Also, if he ever appears to need help, don't hesitate to offer it. He's definitely capable of handling himself, but I know he'll appreciate pointers.
