And on that note - what the hell was the juicy bit of Merthur we were promised all week? The handshake in the bedroom? Fail in the slash department guys!
This. Digital Spy are usually really on with their slash-goggles but apart from the usual UST giving the feeling that they were about the make out, that was probably the most tame thing I've seen from them in a long time. The slash was pretty disappointing all round in this ep actually.
Completely agree that Elyan's death was way too rushed. He was by no means my favourite knight but the characters didn't seem too bothered. I would have liked to have seen more reaction from the knights, especially Percival. I have to admit I will miss their bromance.
Yeah I might have liked the scene if it hadn't been built up as far more. Especially considering Arthur was mooning over Gwen while they were doing it, I was left thinking "was that it?"
There was definitely a lack of reaction to poor old Elyan. Sad when he was one of those closest to Arthur.
