i really really really wanted to avoid writing this but its bugging me. However i suppose this is better then flaming the people who have really pissed me off and feeding there pathetic and somewhat amusing fetish for making other people feel bad about themselves and their creations.

I have never quite been able to comprehend the snarking communities. I mean I am of the opinion that if you don't like something then just don't fucking read it, it's not hard. The systematic unpleasantness is just bullying. It's people making themselves feel mistakenly superior.

I will say you should, friendslock anything that you write on livejournal, because these people aren't allowed to paste things from locked entries without permission. It's livejournal etiquette.

BTW just so you know there is a spell check thingy in livejournal. When you make your entry it's at the bottom next to the preview button. I use it all the time. There is also one in Word, but I don't use Word to write my fics.

When you make an entry at the very bottom it says Show this entry to: and there is a box next to it. If you click the box you can scroll down to Friends and it locks the entry so that it can only be read by people on your friends list.

If you look at the entries you've written then you should have 6 boxes at the top and one is a pencil. Click this and it allows you to edit the security of that post too.

(This is Sami, btw)
I admit that I have sometimes have "mocked" someones art or fanfic or whatever to my friends over MSN, but these people are just trolling. And rather than finding a bunch of sickfucks who actually deserve said trolling, they're gripping at straws, finding any dog with a tiny bit of fluff on it's head and yelling "sparkledog" or grabbing any character that isn't riddled with faults and screaming "mary sue".
Really, all you can do is don't let it get to you. If you don't let it bug you, they'll leave you alone eventually, getting bored because you're giving no reaction.
Half of these people are just complete douchebags with no life sitting on their fat asses all day trying to find some way to make someone else's day miserable.

hi sami

Excuse me for the late reply, I tend to die on this site at random moments.

Personally I think posting it in public is just.. rude. Okay, you can mock someone in a conversation to someone else, have a laugh, or post a journal on some site "Lol I just saw the shittiest character", but actually posting a link is just.. ugh.
Yes. Ranting is fun. c:
