ah the patheticness of some people
i really really really wanted to avoid writing this but its bugging me. However i suppose this is better then flaming the people who have really pissed me off and feeding there pathetic and somewhat amusing fetish for making other people feel bad about themselves and their creations.
i like many people in the world i enjoy drawing and writing. i do spend some time writing fan fiction and recently started writing some for harry potter i love making up characters that interest me, those with special abilities and such things fan fiction or just fiction allows you to go that little bit further partially with a fantasy genre such as this one. i made up a character i really love she gifted yet troubled and all that stuff that an original character should be. i spent rather a long time designing her looks looking up the classes she would like or dislike picking a house for her and making her personality. I'm sure shes like alot of characters really but shes still mine and so far i have had fun drawing her and writing her story and some people seem to have enjoyed it to.
so it saddened me when this story of mine that seemed to be doing well got a review saying i had been "featured" why did it sadden me? it did so because this sight/journal was purely made to post peoples original characters and mock them. someone (i will not put links) has gone to the trouble of copying and pasting peoples work and then displaying them for the world to see.things like looks personality powers and a sue rating were shown. There were also tons of comments saying my character was a "mary sue" hence the sue rating. The definition of this being a character whose badly made in some way or another be it personality, looks or that they have to many abilities that make them stand out. These apparently tend to be from authors who make there character "superior" in some fashion or other or something like that.
really guys its just a character why all the hostility?
........hello its fiction get over it please and have a life. For gods sake what kind of person has so little in life to do that they have to make a journal or a site just to mock others? if your all so perfect go write your own things or how about this rather than being an asshole just read something else rather than making people feel small.
why do you do it?
does it make you feel good?
does it give you a kick?
are you just bored?
..... do you need to get laid? lol
Things brought to my attention were true in my stories i sometimes have typos and spelling mistakes which i will go and re check when i have time i might get someone to help me edit in future. I'm dyslexic it takes ages for me to read and write i hated it at school and did badly and i only stared writing around two years ago and slowly Ive improved abit but this kind off makes me want to quite again. i thought my character was good she is indeed talented but she has her faults and fears to like a normal human. one person said how my character couldn't have red dyed highlights because it's the wrong era (its set in the 70s) and these things didn't exist.
ok reality check its fiction i could understand it if i had given my character a laptop or an mp3 player but it was some highlights for fucks sake and the same with her fashion why should it conform to what it was like back then when the story is set in one so different ? if we can have werewolves, dragons, animagus wizards or even any magic at all surely abit of colour or a modern style wont cause any distress to the reader.

some people had gone so far to flow my links to my art work and mock that too .... nice lovely charming and yes pathetic enjoy it i love you for it as you all made me feel so good about myself although my life really is shit at least i dont have to go around pissing on every one's fire works like you guys. its one problem after another and its getting frustrating and this in the long term probably wont help matters but Ive been on various sites for a while now so i suppose its about time someone did something like this. i have ti say it knocked the wind out of me and kept me up a night out off pure anger.
fan fiction is what ever the author wants it to be, am i wrong?
if you find the persons character annoying or that its badly written please just move along to the next story and dont wast you free time abusing others its really quite sad. it shows a very bad aspect of the human nature and really should be ignored so i wont leave links to my attacker on any of my pages ill just leave this how it is.
in theory this rant will get this off my chest and ill move on.
so annnywho now this is out my system i think ill move on to important worries.
