I have been entirely too lame for approximately the last two weeks. This is mostly thanks so work, because I have been working every single day for the past two weeks. Exactly a year ago, I was on a bus trip across Australia, stopped in a town called Tennent Creek. I found the journal entry from this day:

"It's 3 o'clock in the morning and I am sitting at a gas station. I am completely sober."

It's strange how you miss travelling's rough moments.

Should I take a part time French course? I often find myself very jealous of all the bilingual people out there. It's only 100$ for an 8 week course...

I love when you meet people you don't know and they turn out to be super friendly. And don't try to grope you on the dance floor. Yay for being convinced to go and crash a lame birthday party to bale my roommate out so we can go watch her b-boy boyfriend and dance to the beats.

I just finished a midnight living room workout session with my room-mate to mad jazz music. Laughter and jokes about her new squeeze were aplenty. I have rented a Stanley Kubrick marathon from the cute video boy (Lolita, 2001:A Space Odyssey, and Barry Lyndon) which I have realized is going to take us more than one night to get through as none of ( Read more... )
