*sigh* At this rate the best Watson's going to get is, "Well, my dear fellow, since we're aleady in Switzerland . . . "

But, y'know, I have to say it makes ever so much more sense that Holmes would chase Moriarty to the Continent rather than vice versa!

Oh, I'm sure Holmes has something up his sleeves.

That was one part of FINA I never understood.

"So, um, Watson. How do you feel about running around the Continent for a few weeks because my archenemy--who isn't wanted at all over there and whom the police sometimes think I am making up--wants to kill me?"

Michael Kurland wrote somewhere that Holmes should have just camped out on Lestrade's couch or gone to the Diogenes Club.
