Another sign of spring

Yes, even with temperatures back down below freezing for our daytime high, there was another sure sign of spring this morning. I got up this morning, wandered, sleepy-eyed, into the bathroom. Slightly more awake, I wandered back out through the kitchen and spotted something small on the floor. Looking more closely... a mouse. Yes, spring is here, ( Read more... )

Do you have an opinion on the Brokeback Mtn. vs. Crash debate?

You know what? I really don't think it's such a big deal that Crash won. They were both really good movies, but so different that they can't be compared side by side.

Personally, I prefered Brokeback Mountain, but that's only my opinion. :)

For me, the first sure sign of spring is the appearance of spiders in the bathtub. That and the cats starting to shed wads of fur.

We don't get many spiders, except in the basement. I'm only down there to do laundry or fetch things from the freezer, so I don't notice them. :)

It's still a bit too cold here for the cats to start shedding their wads of fur. And the little never goes outside, so she won't go through that. Purr C., on the other hand, will shed enough to build a fourth cat. We've not had Akira long enough to see how much he sheds in spring. Guess we'll find out.
