I agree with you, but there are a lot of people who are having a fit right now. I think it'll be incredible. The movie, not the people having fits. Though that might be fun, too, largely for the entertainment value. LOL! :)
Yeah, Hemsworth is largely an unknown. Before he played Jim Kirk's dad in the 2009 Star Trek hardly anyone seemed to know who he was. But Thor will be his breakout role.
australia knew who he was...unfortunately he was on one of those neverending soaps on aussie tv...i find it REALLY difficult to take those people seriously
Not sure about The Avengers news myself. I grew up with The Avengers, and it seemed so English. So unsure about a US film version, the last one wasn't much good. Then it is Joss I guess.
I think you're thinking of the TV show, The Avengers. Joss is directing the movie version of the comic book superhero team, The Avengers. It's going to feature Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor.
