Desmond not dying That was an absolute highlight. It's been such a bumpy road for us Desmond fans!
Ben's face in the scenes with Hurley were just too much.
I feel like it was a pretty perfect ending. I have so many questions too, but at the same time I love not knowing. You can really make it what you want to, you know?
I think the people who weren't in the church either still had their own journey to go on, or weren't the real versions in the first place. With Alex and Rousseau it could go either way I suppose. The fact that some people had longer lives does rather make it confusing - I can understand why Locke still needed to 'let go' and make peace with Jack but why did Ben need to stay longer if he'd already become a good person on the island with Hurley? And why did we not see anything from the rest of Kate and Claire's lives?
I think Hurley probably didn't touch people - it seems that people came to the island naturally anyway, so maybe he just actually told them things and then asked them if they wanted to stay and guard the light for a bit. Ben, who never got told anything, poor guy, would probably be down with that. And if any weird scientists turn up they could just mess with their instruments so they never get to shore and have to go back home. :D
Yeah, I would loved to have seen an epilogue that hinted at what happened to the six surviving people on the Ajira plane (as well as Aaron and Ji Yeon). But I'm still please with the ending.
2. Did Bernard and Rose ever have Hurley and Ben over for papaya and conversation?
They must have. :) I'm glad Hurley inherited the island. I think some of them didn't have the "flash" since they weren't ready to move on yet. I'm disappointed we didn't see Eko, Walt, or Vincent in sideways!world but I assume they're out there in the world somewhere and aren't ready to leave yet.
The finale made me cry so much. I'm satisfied with how it ended.

I think Ben and Hurley would be a dynamic duo.

To bad that Richard wasn't there - he and Boone could have compared eyelashe. :)
Enjoyed the ender. It was satisfying enough since just about everybody died. Was glad Jack wasn't alone at the end - yay Vincent.

Richard and Boone, prettiest eyes in Lost. Sounds like an icon!
And yes, I loved that Vincent stayed with Jack. That was a wonderful scene.
