I still remember that episode so well. It was haunting to have the comparison of what we knew of the healthy Pike and then this.

That was one of my favorite episodes of TOS, but when I first saw it, I was probably too young, and it freaked me out. And of course, I had a mad crush on Pike that still exists today. :D

The only Star Trek I've watched is TOS, and I haven't watched it that much... I did always wonder about Pike. This picture just confuses me D: I liked him.

It's a really worthwhile and powerful episode, and it's available on YouTube. It's called "The Menagerie."

I liked the little nod to this timeline with Pike being in a wheelchair at the end of the new movie. I was all like, "I see what you did there."

I hope we get more of Pike in the movie. 8( He is such an attractive fellow.

He certainly is attractive. When I first saw the original episode, the actor they had playing the healthy Pike was quite attractive and I had a bit of a a crush on him. Now that the Bruce Greenwood Pike has survived and is healthy, I can crush all over again!
