I've only seen The Matrix out of the entire list of films.

I LOVED V..even watched the short lived 'series' that aired later...that ended on a blasted cliffhnager....but teh mini-series WAS a classic!

I watched the series, too. The mini was such an important formative period for me. I still remember Mike Donovan pulling the human mask off that Visitor. *shiver*

Yes, its is THE anime classic in which all else are compared and storywise...most won't come close to.

Keep in mind it was made in like 1988! And its still amazing.

I've seen 42 of those. I am in total agreement with you re the V miniseries. The tv show was sadly awful, though. Also, did you know they remade "The Day the Earth Stood Still"? It stars Keanu Reeves as Klaatu.

Yeah, I heard about the Keanu Reeves project, and I was horrified. They're trying to make it into an action movie with lost of explosions. That's not what the movie was meant to be.
