*yawns*

Here's a meme I picked up from someone.

Bold the movies you've scene.

2001: A Space Odyssey
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension! - Unfortunately, I sat through this.
Akira
Alien
Aliens
Alphaville
Back to the Future - I don't know that I consider this sci-fi in the strictest sense.
Blade Runner
Brazil
Brother From Another Planet
A Clockwork Orange
Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Contact
Destination Moon
The Day The Earth Stood Still - One of my all time favorites.
Enemy Mine
Escape From New York
ET: The Extraterrestrial
Flash Gordon (1980s)
The Fly (1985 version) This is a classic. Jeff Goldblum was freaking creepy.

Ghost in the Shell
Gojira/Godzilla (original)
Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956 version)
Jurassic Park
Mad Max 2/The Road Warrior
The Matrix

On the Beach
Planet of the Apes (1968 version)
Robocop
The Running Man
Serenity
Silent Running
Sleepers- I've seen parts of it.
Soylent Green - Yuck.
Stargate - Damn fine film.
Stargate: Ark of Truth - Amazing movie. Great continuation of the series.
Stargate: Continuum - I still have yet to see this, but I'm jonesing for it.
Starship Troopers
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - What, no love for the other Star Trek films?
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
The Stepford Wives (original)
Terminator
The Thing (1982)
The Thing From Another World
Total Recall
Tron
V: The Miniseries
V: The Final Battle - Anyone who hasn't scene these two miniseries needs to rectify that immediately.

About V: The Miniseries and V: The Final Battle: This is a long, expansive miniseries from the 1980s. It's not only a sci-fi classic, it's also the fandom I cut my teeth on. It's brilliant, and no sci-fi fan should go without seeing it.

The basic premise of V is this: Fifty huge spaceships suddenly appear in the skies all over the earth. The aliens appear to be human and offer to help humanity cure diseases and all sorts of groovy stuff. But is it too good to be true?

The entire miniseries is on YouTube. This'll get you to the first part, and the other parts are easy to find: V: The Original Miniseries.
