The character interaction has been amazing this season.
I think this is my favorite thing about the season so far. They've been working in a lot more fun interactions between all the characters that demonstrates how much they've all become friends. It's not just all Nate/Sophie and Hardison/Parker all the time. We've been getting Parker/Sophie, Parker/Nate, Eliot/Sophie, Eliot/Parker, Eliot/Hardison, and Nate/Hardison. So. Much. Love.
Of course, this little voice inside my head is warning me that the reason they're showing us how close their friendships have become is because they're about to blow it all up. Shut up, little voice!
I love your gunfighter reference re:Eliot. I've always thought of him that way (I may have watched too many Westerns as a kid, lol). I just wonder how possible it really is for Eliot to "hang up his guns," so to speak.
And was it just me, or did Sophie seem just a bit turned on by Eliot-as-creepy-killer? ;) I adored the two of them together in this. We just don't see them pairing up enough.
Also, Hardison's outrage at Nate's abuse of his beloved orange soda. That boy pets and names each bottle, doesn't he? *g*
But, yes, the character interaction this season has been stellar. They're just all so comfortable with each other now, even as they poke and prod and bicker, and it's glorious to behold.
And even handcuffed to a chair and with a gun to his head, Nate is the master of mindfuckery.
