Finally!

I have been following the comic book character Northstar since the 1980s. I knew he was gay, before Scott Lobdell ever wrote the comic that outed him. In subsequent years, I and most other fans were pissed off that he had no or only background relationships. And now, to my great excitement:

I know, right? Marvel is making a lot of positive decisions regarding their LGBT characters. :D

It wouldn't be a superhero wedding if something didn't happen! Some big bad will probably turn the thing into a slugfest! But I'm sure that after they beat whatever big bad there is to beat, the couple will be happily married.

Northstar is the first mainstream Marvel superhero to come out of the closet. He's with the X-Men (and has been with Alpha Flight, a Canadian superteam). :D
