Announcing: Summer of Sherlock!
SUMMER OF SHERLOCK:
A FANWORKS PROMPT CHALLENGE
Before the next series of Sherlock starts, I thought we could have a fun summer challenge. Unlike Spring Into Sherlock, there isn't a competitive element to this - it's intended as just a bit of summer fun.
3 - 9 June: Prompting is Open
Prompting is open! You can write as many prompts as you like. If any of your prompts from Spring Into Sherlock were not claimed, feel free to repost them. BUT do not enter a prompt that was filled in the last challenge.
Prompts for Summer of Sherlock should have a loose summer theme to them. That can be as simple as "John and Sherlock go to the beach" or "Mrs Hudson's love of icecream" - it should just be something that seems to have some kind of association with summer. (People don't have to set their entries during the summer, or make summer a massive part of the story, but a summery prompting starting point is fun, I think!)
10 - 14 June: Prompt Claiming
You may claim up to TWO prompts, or if you took part in Spring Into Sherlock (and actually submitted entries) you may claim THREE.
15 June - 31 July: Creating Entries
Create your fanworks and submit them no later than 31 July.
1 - 31 August: Fanworks Posted
Your mods post the fanworks to the comm throughout the month for you to enjoy!
