Did it occur to you that, having been fairly well immersed in (a) feminist (sub)culture for quite a long time, one which (to my occasional chagrin) I value, I might choose to express weariness and disaffection with its often-empty formalitiesI'm pretty certain it didn't occur to the anon you replied to, just as it didn't occur to me, for the very simple reason of you not saying anything like that. We don't know who you are. Well, your initial reaction to the first comment by the OP had the same effect on me. You've assumed something really far-fetched in response to a comment that gave you no evidence whatsoever to be what you thought it would be.

Yeah. I could tease out the supposed evidence I had, and say something like oh, but it was a challenge or a question, not an accusation, but the original error is pretty clear.

Well, I was surprised by the kind of fantasy story you spun. I mean, wow, you're amazing if you can read a person's whole ideology and attitude towards feminism from one short comment. You clearly know them well, or just are a mind-reader.
