Jim from IT left Sherlock more than his phone number on the slip of paper--he also left a note saying 'meet me in the bathroom.' After Molly runs off, Sherlock feigns needing to use the restroom. He finds Jim in there and gives him a damn good filthy and impersonal shag in a stall; then he returns to the lab as if nothing happened. It's up to you if John suspects something.
