This is your prompt:

When they find the ring, it's Watson who recognizes it, Watson who decides on taking a vacation, and Watson who throws it into the volcano where it belongs. Sherlock is rather put out- he was rather interested in the ring that turned people invisible, you know, for SCIENCE!

Yay~

No this has nothing to do with Martin Freeman being cast to play Bilbo in The Hobbit, nothing whatsoever

Oh, of course not. ;D I was watching that whole coverage like a hawk when I saw Freeman might have been casted. Now that he has, I don't even care how horrible the movies might be. I was saddened over the LotheR movies, but dude. Martin Freeman.

(Am I actually the first prompt here? I doubt it, but o.O)

Sherlock is his regular consulting detective self, but John isn't a doctor--he's a prostitute, who happens to get tangled up in Sherlock's cases. Maybe he's friends with the Irregulars?

Sherlock starts to feel very curiously about him indeed--and then finds himself assigned to catch a slew of serial killings in the Whitechapel area of London...

Archangels captainsway January 6 2011, 05:46:43 UTC
Can we please get some archangel AU up in here? xD I don't really care if they actually ARE the archangels or just vessels, but just go with it please! (Oh, what is this, I don't even believe, but I just love the mythology...Fuck, I might have to do art of this if someone fills, when I have time. *sob*)Sherlock is Michael, the archangel of fire and war, trying to rid the world of evil, but only on occasion for his own personal amusement. His 'brother', Mycroft, is really Uriel, the archangel of repentance who rules from the underground with his fiery sword (who is embodied as Anthea; he carries the umbrella as a placeholder). He is trying to get Sherlock to actually try to rid the world of evil for the humans that live in it, but is failing horribly. 'Gabriel' Lestrade is the messenger archangel who brings cases to Sherlock for the same reason and he hopes one day that Sherlock will go back to his ideals of God and fight the war for humanity and Heaven once more ( ... )

Repost from a previous... post.

Sherlock is contacted by a group of men from the North about a string of disappearances. Someone is abducting married women from their homes.

Sherlock and John go up to this local town for local people (there's nothing for you here), where he eventually tracks the disappearances to one Papa Lazarou.

Does Sherlock save the day, or does Papa Lazarou imprison him and John in an animal?

TL;DR: League of Gentlemen crossover. Need it like woah.

Papa Lazarou is literally the scariest thing I've ever seen on TV. I daren't even rewatch, it creeped me out so much. So seconded.

Tell me, when you read his name, do you hear it in his voice? I do every time, and I'm not sure if it's hilarious or terrifying.

Yes! And both, hilarious and terrifying. I can't quite work out what I find so scary about him, but considering he was just minor character in a sketch show it's ridiculous just how much he (still) scares me.

Mycroft says: Infolly Mediaeval, which could well be part of the explanation.

John/Mycroft & Sherlock/Lestrade. How do Sherlock and John keep their relationships intact when they themselves share such a strong, if strictly friendly, bond?
