Fill: Eye of the Beholder Part 1A/? tsukichibi October 13 2012, 00:28:57 UTC
The day is sunny and warm and bright, not too hot, the perfect day for a crime scene. Or at least, it was until the crime in question turned out to be horrifically boring. Sherlock leans against the railing of the bridge and crosses his arms, staring in the direction of the flashing lights. He can see Lestrade arresting the lover, who's broken down into pathetic tears. They’re too far away to hear the excuses but Lestrade looks a little bored so they can’t be too inventive. He shakes his head. "What a useless emotion," he says to no one in particular ( ... )

"I really don't have time to stand here and listen to your ridiculous fantasies," Sherlock snaps, his shoulders stiff. It's impossible to miss the look of hurt on John's face but he spins on his heel and stalks away, hoping that no one else saw that happen. For one brief, shining moment he had allowed himself to think that John might have been talking about him ( ... )

And this too! *faints with pleasure*

Also, thank you again for being so organised and always putting your links in the filled thread!! Big help. I only track the filled thread as I just have no time for following the prompts each single day and so I'm very glad I won't miss anything written by you :)

So I just discovered this prompt through your fill link and god I'm so grateful. Love the prompt, and the beginning of your fill too of course :)

And I forgot to say that this beginning is asdfgjkl awesome and I know I shouldn't like Sherlock's hurt so much but I do this as I know John will mend it again and I CAN'T WAIT for more and the way you constructed it, with Sherlock actually being right and then being unable to believe John might mean him indeed and aaww my heart my heart.

Must you get me addicted to every single one of your stories? It's a little rude actually. I'm just strolling through the kink meme minding my own busy, then BOOM I get stuff on brilliant WIP that has me checking for updates twice a day, and more often than not they've got your name at the top of them. You literary seductress.

I so agree with you. She really does make us addicts, doesn't she? And don't we love it...

Ok I seriously laughed out loud, literary seductress? I can honestly say you're the only person who has EVER called me that.

Haha well it's very true. You could come with your own warning label even, just so people would know. If I could I'd make you an icon that said "WARNING: TEXTUAL SIREN."

(And the word "stuff" in my previous post is supposed to be "stuck." Dagnabit English language)

(Also, Mycroft says "sligali Drawn." I think he's trying to say that he too is drawn to your signal.)

John doesn’t come back to the flat that night. Sherlock’s not overly surprised by this, though he tries in vain to convince himself that he’s not disappointed by it. He curls up on the couch with his violin nearby and tries not to imagine that John is out fucking the man he was describing. His mind insists on torturing him with images of John, wonderful strong John, tangled up in a passionate embrace with someone else and to be honest it makes him nearly vomit more than once. The fact that there is nothing in his stomach doesn’t seem to help and finally he heaves himself off of the couch and totters into the bathroom to throw up bile and the tea John had made him consume that morning ( ... )
