May I politely say - and I do mean to be polite - that in not only not bothering to take the time to research the relevant topics and in not bothering to edit or otherwise take care over your fill, but to outright state that you didn't as if it doesn't matter - I find that very rude.

A fill is a gift to the prompter. Yes, the author derives enjoyment from writing too but a good gift should be with the recipient in mind. There's no race to write the most: quality is always valued over quantity. If you don't care enough to make your fills as best as you reasonably can perhaps you should stick to writing for yourself?

Um excuse me I never edit because I rarely make mistakes, and I'm planning on making a better/longer one in the future if OP likes this one? Who said I didn't research? I've had anxiety attacks myself. Nowhere in there did I say that I didn't have a reference.

Self-disparagement isn't an insult to anyone but me, thank you. I did what I thought OP wanted and if OP doesn't like it then OP can tell me and I can fix it for them.

And they can help me name it because I can't think of anything.

I'm sorry if I came across as entitled but I honestly think that in not editing and admitting that it's a bad fill you're just saying that you don't care what the OP gets: you wrote this for yourself. Which is entirely missing the point of prompt memes.

That's only my opinion, but I would please ask you to concentrate on quality over quantity next time. Writing here is not a race.

Thank you for filling.

I was hoping for more of a focus on Mycroft, his loss of control and in general lot more angst. To my mind, it would take a lot more than just Sherlock disappearing for a bit for Mycroft to really lose control. I realise that my prompt was very non-specific and you seem fairly new so :-

1) keep writing
2) it's not a race, and there's no award for being the first to post a fill.
3) title wise, saying "bad fill sorry OP" is very off-putting.

Like I said, thank you for filling :)
