Sherlock vs. Siri anonymous May 2 2012, 14:33:17 UTC
Woo, new Part!

Anyway, I'm not sure if anyone has prompted this yet, but I'm dying to see a fill in which Sherlock gets one of the new iphones with Siri. I can see him either hating it like the devil or thinking its the best thing since sliced bread. Or maybe he even runs a little "experiment" to test Siri's effectiveness against John, a la this youtube video.

tl;dr: Sherlock vs. Siri. Just...anything.

SHERLOCK vs. SIRI
(or one time John won)

5.
SHERLOCK: Siri, if I said, ‘I love you,’ what do you think John would do?
SIRI: Sorry. I don’t understand. Could you repeat that?
SHERLOCK: It’s not that complicated. What would he say if I said, ‘I love you’?
SIRI: Oh, I bet you say that to all your Apple products.
SHERLOCK: Not you! Him!
SIRI: Sorry. Could you repeat that?
SHERLOCK: ARG! [throws iphone] Stupid mobile.
JOHN: [enters] Sherlock! Don’t throw your mobile, they’re bloody expensive!
SHERLOCK: It’s stupid. It won’t answer my question. [sulks]
JOHN: Maybe you were saying it wrong.
SHERLOCK: Of course I wasn’t ‘saying it wrong’, I have perfect grammar.
JOHN: It’s a mobile, Sherlock, it doesn’t give a damn about grammar. What did you ask it?
SHERLOCK: …I can’t tell you.
JOHN: Why not?
SHERLOCK: That would defeat the purpose of getting someone else’s opinion.
JOHN: Since when do you need someone else’s opinion on anything?
SHERLOCK: It’s…outside my area of expertise. [blushes]
JOHN: …
JOHN: Oh.SHERLOCK: What ( ... )

Incubus!Jim (dub-con warning) anonymous May 2 2012, 14:33:51 UTC
Jim is an incubus.

He starts visiting Sherlock's dreams every night. Since he's capable of controlling them completely, he can do to Sherlock whatever he likes, no matter how kinky or impossible.
Soon Sherlock finds himself enjoying this more than he should.

Whether Sherlock thinks it's just his subconscious or realizes the truth is up to you.

(I know this might not be entirely consistent with mythology, but I'd like this to focus on the dream walking aspect rather than actual physical contact in the real world, at least at the beginning)

TW: abortion anonymous May 2 2012, 14:43:52 UTC
Hi, guys, I would really like to see a story in which fem!Sherlock decides to have an abortion and, you know, actually goes through with it (circumstances up to you). And maybe some of the people around her aren't as supportive as you'd hope, but she does it anyway and maybe has some regrets but in the end she knows it was the right thing to do.

I wouldn't say no any pairing as long as this is some part of the story.

Please, I really need this right now. Thanks, lovely writers.

John doesn't understand, but of course he won't. Good virtuous John who regards all life as precious, even the ones that haven't been born yet into this world. He respects Sherlock decision but at times he looks at her with disappointment. She knows that John has been thinking about having a child and she also knows that he will be a good father. He was really excited when she told him the news, even though he wasn't the father ( ... )

AAAH, OMG, THANK YOU FOR FILLING THIS PROMPT, and so quickly, too! I really love your take on it--so unusual, and it makes so much sense, too. Great Mycroft characterization.

I like this line the best:

This might be your only chance to be a mother, the voice whispered. Can you live with it? Knowing that you had your chance and you threw it away?

and this:

No, Sherlock doesn't regret it. She shouldn't.

It's just...really, really meaningful to me, so thank you so much, author-anon. *hugs you forever*

Young!Sherlock/Older!John anonymous May 2 2012, 14:48:39 UTC
John is in his 30's, just out of the army, when he meets Sherlock, a lonely, young man just out of university and recovering from drug addiction.

Sherlock discovers a new lease of life through this kind, gentle man who decides to take Sherlock under his wing and show him the simple joys of life.

John teaches Sherlock how to stand up for himself and how to channel his talents into detective work. Sherlock learns how to laugh and relax and never feels lonely when they're together.

When they start falling in love, Sherlock asks John to teach him everything he knows about sex.
