Moran calmes Moriarty down in ways no one else understands. (They don't understand it either, but Jim isn't going to spoil a good thing and it's not in Sebastian's contract, it's something he actually likes)

Sometimes, when things get particularly bad and Moriarty is wound up too tight, they'll lie on the sofa or a bed together. Moran will watch something on TV or read a book, and Moriarty will drape himself on top and twine their legs together and just listen to Moran's steady breathing and his heartbeat.

In light of how sweet and soft and generally fantastic this fill is, I think all high pitched noises are inherently justified. And hey, maybe if enough people join in, we can even make the giddy squeaking look dignified, too.
