Hey guys,

I'm looking for some decent Sherlock BBC / Avengers crossovers. More specifically, ones that involve John-Coulson interactions or John taking over as the Avengers' handler. I'd pretty much given up on this, so thanks! "Magnets, Mirrors and Misdirection" was precisely the John/Loki I had been thinking of, so thanks for rediscovering that for me; and the other two sound great as well. You have my eternal gratitude. *bows*

Wow, okay, was not expecting any more replies to this, and what a brilliant fic rec too! I love 2nd-POV fics when they're done well, but they're usually a bit tricky to get right, so I loved how well done this was. Interesting concept as well. Basically, thank you!

Bless you for this search - I love crossovers with a fiery passion, but sadly there is not nearly enough of Sherlock/Avengers crossovers. *sighs*

I can only offer you an Iron Man/Sherlock crossover, maybe that'll still fit the bill?

Written over on the Sherlock prompt meme for the prompt "JOHN WATSON WAS WOUNDED IN AFGHANISTAN BECAUSE HE WAS IN THE FUNVEE WITH TONY STARK." The fill is un-crackish (unlike all the comments leading up to it, it's really quite amusing) and full of BAMF!John and obnoxious!Tony - but, well, John apparently always did have a particular weakness for mad geniusses. And knows how to deal with them.

I have so much love for you right now for a) actually posting to my search more than a year after my initial post; b) reccing one of my favourite Marvel/Sherlock crossovers, even though its not comple- OH MY GOD SOMEONE ADOPTED IT? I love how people kept reposting the prompt (I did as well), but the story - and the initial prompt! Goodness, the comments are hilarious!- are just that awesome!!! I hope you enjoy the continuation by the adoptive author!
