I've read a lot of stories - Fall related and not - where Sherlock does absolutely awful things to John and John just forgives him.  There is a time and place for those fics, but I really, really need to read stories where Sherlock is (at least eventually) sorry for his awful behavior and has to EARN John's trust back.  I do prefer happy endings ( Read more... )

I'm looking for any fics where, after Sherlock's fall, John continues with The Work, solving crimes. Fics where John works with Scotland Yard and makes deductions, even without Sherlock.

It's a quiet little fic about John liking Harry's My Little Pony toys or something and being secretly really into pony play, and it ends with Sherlock realizing this and getting some supplies and putting John through his paces. I seem to remember reading a bunch of fics back in the day along the theme of John impressing people with his doctorly skills rather than the soldierly ones - taking charge in an accident, battlefield medicine, saving someone's life in a crisis, that sort of thing. I'm trying to find a fic (or get recs of similar fics) that I think I found on the kinkmeme once upon a time.

Essentially, Sherlock and John have a go at dating, realize theyre not compatible in that way, and go back to being just friends. No angst, just assurance that romance just isnt in the cards for them.

Any ideas?

Can someone please point me to any Johnlock stories that delve into John dealing with his sexuality and deciding that he isn't as straight as he thought he was - especially where it comes to Sherlock?

I'd just like to see him put some thought into it and determining that he is bi.
