I remember having once thrown a little Watty tantrum (with Scottish accent, as good as possible) when they wouldn't accept my Scottish Pound in the Midwest. I thought they were pulling my leg. Then I asked at a local bank and learned all about it.

It seems that most people think they are legal tender, the people at work were quite vocal about how wrong I was. I've just spent about 10 minutes wrestling with my printer to make it work so I can bring proof!
