Eventually you reach that point in your job search where you've applied to everywhere in a 25 mile radius that's accepting applications and all you can really do is check Craigslist and Monster everyday for new postings and when they don't have anything, you just sort of sit around all day feeling useless. This happens to so many of my friends I wish I had a job where I had the ability to hire people. (And then they have to deal with, 'you're not trying hard enough!' bit from strangers. And it's like, fuck you.)

At least you'll have a degree backing you. That makes it so much easier. I've just got a high school diploma and 3 semesters of community college.

Try calling the next day after you drop off your resume to prove you are interested, do some research on their business and say why you are interested in it

You dont have to give refs unless they ask for them. keep them private until they do
