*blushes* Thank you! I actually wanted the movie night to be a bit happier, with Rodney hiding his issues better, but he wouldn't comply and Sheppard wouldn't comply and, dang, these characters have a mind of their own. ;0)

Yeah, they do. Like that power Rodney insisted on on my AU.... OY.

I have seriously never written characters more determined to do their own thing!

Absolutely lovely. Rodney tearing up when Spock died (right with ya there, pal).

Great teaminess, and the last line....

Perfect.

Oh, wonderful! :) I love Sheppard's hovering, even though he's so trying not to appear that he's hovering.

Also - the team gathering around Rodney & their total reluctance to leave him alone. Very well done!

As for the Trek movies, Star Trek II - Wrath of Kahn is where Spock died, III - Search for Spock, IV - Voyage Home (whales!) V - Final Frontier (search for God...) :) My dad used to drag me to sci-fi movies when I was a kid because he wanted someone to go with him, neither my mother or any of the siblings were into sci-fi and I was handy... *g* Hence why I got to see Bladerunner at like age 12 - even if I didn't understand it at the time and thought it was terribly sad. *laugh*

But, this is a wonderful team fic! I loved it!

Did I get the movies right? I think I did-- they watched II (the one where spok dies) and then Rodney requests number five, which is the one he THINKS is with the whales, but Sheppard puts on four, which is the one ACTUALLY with the whales.

I'm so glad you liked it! :)

I'm having a total brain cramp now myself and can't remember. I just remember you mentioning Trek III & V & I'm going, "Uhm, wait a second...." because, I was tired at the time and now can't process it. :-p

Aw, very lovey team-y feel here! I loved how John was watching over Rodney while trying not to be obvious about it. And I adored the team night, too. I just wanted to cry for poor Rodney when he was surprised at their appearance, even though John had reminded him several times. *sniff*

Loved the ending also. Very, very nicely done! :)

*shares the tissues* That whole ep made me want to cry! I'm glad (or sorry?) my little missing scene approached something even remotely close to the emotions of that ep.

Thank you!!
