I've decided to start feeding the authors i so enjoy reading. i have followed your stories for quite a while now, here and on ff.net. all i can say is that your writing keeps me going in a sometimes harsh world. please do not stop. the team yumminess was wonderful and their concern for john was spot on. you have captured the spirit that is truly SGA and i thank you.

Thank you very much for reading the story, but also for supporting my other works as well.

Writers need routine feedings! ;) I'm glad you've enjoyed my tales :D

WOW! That was completely awesome! I loved John's willingness to sacrifice himself for his team and his team's inability to let him do it. Great whumpage and some really neat team interaction. The ending with Woolsey was cool too. Thanks for a wonderful read!!!

Thanks so much! The ending with Woolsey and John was, originally, introspect about Sheppard by Woolsey in the infirmary but that scene didn't work so it turned into this scene instead which I ended up liking much better :D

I adore writing the team. I'm very much a gen/team/action writer at heart though I try to write a lot of different stuff (including HC/Whump! LOL) but team always seems to shine through in almost all of my stories. I just love them :)

~Ahhhhh~ Now this was wonderful. I found Sheppard's interactions with those gone before particularly compelling. That internal landscape where Sheppard was brought to fight for life was very, very nicely juxtaposed with the external efforts of his team to free him and escape with that life. Definitely one for the kindle and print out and keep handy list. Thank you.

Thanks! That started as one scene with Sheppard and Holland (I think my muse for my current novel story about Shep's backstory in Afghanistan and Antarctica was pushing at me.. LOL). Anyway, it started with the Shep and Holland scene and after that I was thinking about it, and the other characters, and what they represented symbolically occurred to me so I started playing with it. I really liked it as a secondary story and character development aspect for Sheppard. I like the characters, (one or more) to have some sort of "journey" in the story. :)

anyway, I babble... LOL Thanks! ;)

i love all of your stories, icons and i also see you at gateworld. shep whump rules! you have a gift that i am so happy that you share with us. you know the characters and you know how to express all of them. i especially love that the story revolved around the team and how much they mean to each other. the devotion and loyalty that they show to one another is the reason that i love sga....that and the yumminess that is JF. please continue writing these kind of stories, you are a natural. once again, thank you.

heheheh.. thats me! I tend to do a lot of fandom stuff, its great. I've written in all my previous fandoms but this is the first one I've done so many other things in as well. ;)

Thank you so much. I think one of the highest compliments anyone has ever given me is that I voice the characters well. That's a big deal to me because in a lot of my stories, I try to stretch them a little in ways maybe not addressed by canon.

The team always was the heart of SGA, much like the team in SG1. I think it really was one of the cornerstone aspects of the show's success.. and I absolutely adore Team Sheppard and love writing them. :D

Well, it was the request of my beta reader (much to her shock, she's not usually a whumper! LOL) that I do a "tied up and whipped Sheppard" story. So my muse, being the sometimes whumpy skewed thing that she is, wanted this to be something that the rest of the team had to watch, powerless to stop it. Combine that with a desert and "oh, leave him hanging there to die" came about. LOL

I thought the self sacrifice worked well, especially in the light of Sheppard's comments to Teyla in Sateda. I really do believe that if the chips were down, he'd sacrifice himself without hesitation. But, it was fun for him to learn that his team would do the same for him. I think he's always known somewhere deep down, but having it proven to him, I think, was a fun character growth arc for him.

As for Woolsey, that's a character that really grew on me throughout season 5. I like him, and I like the dynamic he has with Sheppard, that is so different than the one Shep had with Weir or Carter.

Anyway, I babble... LOL Thanks! :)
