Huh. Just watching a marathon of The Closer and low and behold, David Hewlitt. He's playing a FBI agent. I love that show and Kyra Sedgewick. Good on him for getting a job in such a well written show. Waiting and wishing upon a star to hear that the SGA movie or a mini series is greenlit (one can always dream). Off to the local Convention in Calgary called, ConVersion. Celebrating it's 26th year and I've been there since the beginning (shows my age). Robert Picardo is going to be there so I hope I get to talk to him. This con is really small and intimate, only about 400 to 500 people attend and usually it is pretty casual with the guests. I have never bid on a story before but I went hog wild for my first time. I love all the authors that I have bid on but now I'm the highest bidder on all of them! Just the thought of all those SGA stories! Unfortunately the biddding has just begun but I am determined to get at least one story. just a little note to say that stargate atlantis is one of my favorite shows. my favorite character is john sheppard. i also lurk on gateworld as plain old dernhelm because i am too dorky to figure out how to write there. i also read a lot of sga fan fic and am a big fan of a lot of people at gateworld who write the stuff i love to read. don't ( Read more... ) -
