Just one little thing - Cutter is a professor, not a doctor. :)

One thing, I'm not sure about.

I'm in Australia, normally a professor has to have a Doctorate in his field In order to teach at a university, so over here both Doctor and Professor are Titles that would be used.

I'm pretty sure I've heard Cutter referred to as Doctor on the show, I'll have a look on Youtube, they'll probably have something.

Sorry, I just realized I may have come across as cranky, I wasn't, I'm just not sure how the rules apply in the UK, or here for that matter, for all I know I've got it completely wrong.

Looks like you're right, I've been through all of season 1 and I don't think I heard Cutter called Doctor once.

Of course I'll have to watch every episode made to be absolutely sure.....purely for confirmation purposes.

Oh the suffering I go through ;).
