It's a very oblique reference to going into to heat, and how that might be controlling Jacob's actions somewhat.

This was hot! Edward and Jake all ready make greatness and to throw in Carlisle makes it all the better. I loved Bella getting hurt and running odd, of course she can'tt ake it, selfish bitch needs all eyes on her all the time.

I'm glad you liked it, Unfortunately Bella will always end up a minor character in my fics, I don't like her, but I don't really hate her either, she's just pretty much a non-entity for me.

I just don't feel for her at all, A character is well written if you love them, if you like them, or if you hate them, if you feel nothing for them, it's just not good for the story.
