Hello everyone! We figured it was high time that we give you an update on the current state of Paradox and our plans for the future

I've changed journals and lost a bunch of people from the old days (Paradox-o-Rama, holla!) but I'm so relieved to see that this place won't be going away anytime soon. I'm a little sad that the summer activity has been canceled, but I completely understand. I feel like this season, more people started liking Shamy (which I get because they are very cute) but I'll always be on board with this community and especially with Sheldon/Penny. I feel like we're the ship that just enjoys what we get. We make our own canon and no matter what the show gives us, we'll always have memories and Soft Kitty and used DNAy napkins!

Thank you, lovely mods, for never abandoning us! I can't wait for Christmas. I'll definitely be signing up for Saturnalia! Maybe before then one of us non-mods can organize some sort of event. Like a rewatch or a fic-battle or something to occupy our summer! :)

Thank you for not giving up on the comm!!! I totally understand about being busy...I have an unfinished Sheldon/Penny fic that has been sitting on my desktop for two years now...I only have a couple hundred words to add but no time in which to do so!

We're gearing up for a new term over at hogwarts_elite and the Headmaster ran a poll to see who'd be interested in Last Icon Maker Standing and Last Ficlet Writer Standing competitions. Maybe we could run a poll to get an idea of interest here and then if enough people are interested (I'm thinking at least 20, maybe?) then I could nut out a schedule and we could have those running over a couple of months.

Also, I'm happy to start a new drabble tree any time someone wants one.

That would be fantastic! Competitions like that are always fun, and we haven't run something like that here yet. So if you're up for it, we'd love to have it. :)

I have to admit that I've lost interest in the show itself but not in the fandom, partly because the last season wasn't very Shenny-oriented and partly because of Megaupload being shut down, wich was where I saw most episodes...
It breaks my heart a little that there won't be any summer activity (since I'm feeling a bit down myself), but I'll be here for Saturnalia as usual!

Btw, the drabble tree was so cool, I loved it!
