Hi,

I'm fairly new to this fandom. I saw Jim Parsons for the first time on Conan O Brien a few months ago and was instantly smitten. I decided to give the show one chance and it just so happens that the first episode I ever watched was The Adhesive Duck Deficiency. Of course I now know that there could not have been a better episode to start with!

Thank you!

And I agree. It is still my favorite. I can tell you that that episode was not at ALL what I was expecting when I tuned into the show for the first time. I laughed nonstop. And I immediately jumped on the Penny/Sheldon bandwagon. But even if it was just the b-story with Leonard, Raj, and Howard camping I still would have been hooked.

"Adhesive Duck" was the best episode of the season, so you really timed that out perfectly! Have you gone back and checked out the early seasons? Enjoy Paradox!

I've watched the majority of the episodes but I still haven't caught up on some of the early season three.

You know, I avoided this show for a long time because I didn't like the whole "nerdy guy drooling over the hot blond" premise. I guess that does happen, but that's not everything. Plus, I just love Sheldon as a character.
