Oh, the weather outside is frightful! So goes it after two named winter storms in three days. There was eight inches of snow on the ground - only decreased a little by the sleet and rain that ended it on Sunday. As I get older, I do not like snow. I do not like to shovel it or drive in it. Well, I hope you have had some physical relief by now? Ugh! What an ordeal. Our Christmas was lovely with my Nebraska son and family here. Daughter had us to her house for the first time. It was so fun to watch the three girls play.

We're having freezing rain right now and it's headed your way. Let me know when you find that island. The older I get, the more I dislike the cold.

We had rain on Wednesday, but wer're going through a January thaw right now - I'll enjoy it for now.

Christmas was wonderful. We have new little ones on both sides of the family and watching them enjoy the presents and the tree was just great. That is what makes Christmas magical.

I still would like that tropical island - if I find it , I'll save a place for you and your family
