Amazing. Can't wait for more. I love this little bit about Jack's past.

Thank you! Jack's past can't get any more A/U than this, LOL! I thought it would be interesting to delve into something where Jack hasn't always been a pirate. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, I meant it. You're doing an awesome job of keeping me in line!

And I'll certainly try to have a little fun in the sun, but I think all I'll probably have is sunburn, LOL! It just sucks that the boss always has to rent an open convertible while we're there. Life can be so tough sometimes!

I loved the interaction between Anamaria and Gibbs in this chapter. It was great. Of course, I'm still waiting for More Jack/Will action! When are those two going to get together? *whimper* You're killing me!

Thanks a bunch, as always! As for the Jack/Will "action," well, I'm afraid Jack is being very obtuse right now, so I can't say exactly when that'll be. I did mention that this wasn't going to be a happy fic, didn't I? Ooops.

Well, I promise it won't be altogether dark by the end, but the boys still have a long way to go before things are anything even close to right between them, I'm afraid. You know how men are, LOL!

Thank you, thank you! Glad you're still with me. Things are a little hectic right now, but I'll finish this fic someday, LOL!

Ypung Jack = Will.

I love the girl, little as we knew her.

I'd toyed with the idea of another flashback instead of Gibbs relaying the tale, but this story was long enough already without it. Thanks as always for taking the time to comment!
