On the heels of almost a decade spent living with cats and only cats, it seems that my brain is having trouble adjusting to the idea of my having more than one kind of pet.

Or at least, I assume that's why I told the Tortie that she's "a cute lizard" this morning.

I'm sure she's an adorable lizard. I saw a bearded dragon at the pet store last weekend and wanted to buy it. I really shouldn't, though. I have way to many pets in my itty bitty apartment as it is.
