Summary: I was just talking to a friend how there should be a Super Junior E and this is what resulted.
A/N: Most of the references are to Super Junior Full House when they try to learn English. This is written like a short review of the Album.
Super Junior-E, the recently formed sub group of Super Junior, is trying to break into the American music industry to bring their music to all of the English speaking fans. Their newly released CD is entitled “Ok We Can!” after the title track. The cd includes the ballad “You are so gorgeous” and surprisingly Kim Heechul’s first solo song “Yo-touch man”.
The fan support for this album has been phenomenal. “We never expected SJ-E to be such a big hit! Especially since our English skills are somewhat lacking” Says the Leader of the group Leeteuk, in very broken English.
Other notable songs on the cd include Eunhyuk’s rap “I collect cars everyday (because it is fun)” and KRY’s accapella song “Nice Weather”. Kibum shows off his English skills in the song “Super junior, I hate them” and Kangin’s solo in “Korea’s number 1 handsome guy” surprised fans with his intensity and vocal talent. But the highlight of the album is Henry Lau’s violin solo entitled “Holy Crap how did I end up here with all these people who think they can speak English and can’t say my name properly!” Known to the fans as the “Back to Canada” track.
North American ELF’s are looking forward to the groups promotional tour called fittingly “Engrish We Speak Et”.
