I saw Patty in concert here last year. Most of her music has a happy effect on me. But there are certain songs that do make me want to cry cause they've taken on a more personal level with me. But her music is excellent. So I definitely know what you mean.

thanks for the l word. i think i'm going to download it tommorrow because today my internet is having a reeeaaallly slow day.

i find it amusing how you start with how you can't write an entry but then continue with a really interesting and amusing entry. when you said you'd bring fiona apple to work i actually imagined how you could bring a cut out of her (like dana's cut out alice had in the l word). i know i'm stupid but that's what came to my mind.

oh and to kabosch i'm sure you're a wonderful person but you kind of ruined the epi for me because i didn't know what happened to dana.

You're welcome - I'm sorry it got ruined for you. I already knew what was going to happen but it was still an amazing episode - Alice was amazing in it.

Heeeh, I wish I *had* a cutout of Fiona Apple! That'd be fun! And I'm glad you found the entry amusing - that's what happens when I decide to go into "write whatever comes to mind" mode... messy, but hopefully sometimes entertaining. I'm practising.

i just saw the epi and i'm so sad. why oh why? why dana? the whole time i was thinking why not jenny? is that rude? i can't help it but i can't imagine the l word without dana and the whole dana/alice interaction.

but i agree it was an amazing epi and although i thought that the little spoiler would ruin it for me it totally didn't. so it was really ok.
