Heee, thank you :D I'm really glad you liked it (I tried to keep the dark bits in check and not go toooverboard with the angst, so I hope that worked).
I'm glad you liked the ending :) I knew from the very beginning that I wanted to end with Neal, Kate, Peter and Moz working together. Still the story did catch me by surprise several times (for example, same as Peter, I did not expect Neal to propose, but somehow it just happened).
Thanks again for the wonderful art and hopefully we'll work on something together again in the future :)
Oh wow, I never saw any of this coming! I admit, I'm not much of a Kate fan (and I kept wondering if she had her own agenda), but it was an incredible what-if. It is nice that for once, Neal doesn't lose a loved one.
But oh man, that argument at the end between Neal and Peter! Both had reasons to be angry at the other, so I'm glad they're working it out AND Peter compromised. I'm surprised that he's going to trust Neal with the jammer, but I think for now he can trust that Neal's only goal is to be with Kate and the endgame involved.
It's so amazing in every possible way, yay \o/ The plot, the twists, the glorious trust issues, angst and guns and Kate not being dead = ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I love it how you incorporated some of the season 5 tension and the fake death idea from S6, it has worked out beautifully, but of course you have also given our boys a chance to yell at each other a bit and then a chance to make things right :D :D :D
Of course, it was also great to explore Kate a little bit, obviously we have so little canon!Kate, you can shape her character into whatever is needed. But I like the mixture of distrust and love, sometimes it's very hard to read her. But I also do believe that she did love Neal, she just lost her way, so having this story give them a chance a shot at a future together - it really works for me :D
So, all in all - EPIC EPICNESS, I loved it, it was a great read :D
I'm glad you mention the S5 and 6 themes. TBH I didn't initially plan to include these parallels, but somehow the fic naturally developed in that direction and it actully gave me the chance to address these issues in the relative "safety" of the 2nd season.
As for Kate - don't get me wrong, I'm still a hard Neal/Sara shipper - but I also always wanted to give Kate and Neal a happy ending, at least once. So here they get a shot at that. It's not guaranteed that it will work out, but at least they get the chance, and I think they deserve it after all they've been through.
So once again, thank you for your absolutely wonderful review and I'm really glad you enjoyed the story :)
I can't begin to explain how much I love this. I'm a big Neal/Sara and Neal/Kate fan so I'm kind of lucky in that retrospect. I look forward to hopefully reading a sequel one day :)
Thank you :) I'm a huge fan of both of these pairings as well and I really wish there were more fics with them (Neal/Kate especially is almost nonexistent in fandom). Hopefully one day I'll have enough time to actually write that sequel.
Thank you for your review and I'm glad that you liked the story :)

Thanks again for that great story! It was a great take on my art and it was a delight to make some more art for it.
Glad that at the end, Neal and Kate decide not to run. :)
