wow. I never thought about sterilization before. Makes sense. What sort of things? sheets, towels, blankets, receiving blankets and the like? Is there some sort of service that does it?
After all that dobok folding and belt tying y'all will be pros at diapering. Worst case: you have a handy baby bathtub you can just keep him in! :P
We have one bag with towels and washcloths, one bag with receiving blankets and baby clothes and diapers and baby hats and slippers, one bag with 2 sets of sheets in it (one for labor, one for post-partum). These all get packed, tied with twine, and then put in the oven at 250 degrees with a container of water to sterilize it. SO STRANGE! Then there's another bag with TONS of stuff like: Qtips, alcohol, baby diaper creme, cotton balls, advil, tylenol, etc etc. That bag doesn't get sterilized. We also got a huge box of supplies last week (birthing kit) that has lots of medical looking stuff in it that's all pre-sterilized. There's a lot involved!!
Hehe, YES, that tub is awesome and I cannot wait to use it. I'll have to post lots of pix of his first baths!!
