it's funny the turns these roads take
He was SuperHusband this weekend. Between the two of us, this weekend saw major accomplishment.
We:
Picked up and installed 2 new toilets (Ali had to chisel one out of the tile surrounding it, but that did not even slow him)
Picked up the first set of diaper supplies from the diaper service
Attended a cloth-diapering class (we now feel we can at least TRY to diaper our child)
Cleaned the kitchen like it's never been cleaned before (me on hands and knees for an hour scrubbing tile, good stuff)
Walked almost 10 miles together (exercise is important, dontcha know)
Cooked all meals at home together
Cleaned the bathrooms
Organized the cub's closet
Installed the Bum Genius Diaper Sprayer
Packed most of our bags for sterilization (See xa's here for an idea of the massive amount of things required)
Washed our sheets
Read 3 books (hello, Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer.)
Napped often

I think that's it. It was a ridiculously productive weekend and we both felt wonderful having time to get this stuff done. There's still much more to do/buy/prepare, but I feel good about where we are.
I've been having intense contractions already but I'm not as scared anymore. It will be what it is, and I'm committed to the path I've chosen. For me, and for the baby, I have to do this.
3.5 wks til he's due.
6 more days of work until maternity leave.
6.5 hrs til our next birthing class
