Someone gave Ali some jasmine tea for Xmas, and I've recently become addicted to it. Since I'm off coffee (TTC), the jasmine tea is my new default hot beverage. I love it. Or, rather, I loved it, until I ran out ( Read more... )

there exists cheaper jasmine tea--even good stuff is cheaper than that! why not try some from whole foods or somewhere? (i find it's cheaper than the packaged stuff to buy in bulk, usually...same for spices. yowza-cheaper!)

Indeed, I'm now totally over this !@#(&!@# rich tea and have moved on. Now I'm going to addict myself to white tea, which I hear is VERY healthy. I'm quite quick at adapting!

jasmine tea is a staple at most asian markets. you can get enormous amounts of it there for next to nothing.

the expensive kind is very nice, though :P

If it lasted you three weeks, that's $13 a week, which is hardly extravagant for a very enjoyable beverage. You should definitely keep some on hand for when you feel like indulging, even if you think it's too pricey for daily use. (It's so not. You've seen people suck down $4 cappuccinos three times a day!)

Starbucks = one of my favorite places in the world. True, pricey, but I usually only get a tall beverage ($3) and even now it's one of my favorite splurges (in decaf) and the only reason I went for tea over a tall decal nonfat latte with a half pump of sugar-free vanilla is that the tea is cheaper! orrrr so I thought....

Sugar-free products contain a bunch of weird chemical shit that may have wacky-negative impacts on new little embryos. Tea with honey, particularly green tea or herbal teas, are GOOD for you ( ... )

"Pay more, eat less." I read that as I dove into my dinner of kale and tofu, all from the prepared section of Whole Foods, all of which (along with some chicken for Ali) cost me $25. HAHA!
